Services Offered
Comprehensive psychological evaluations and psychoeducationals are offered in person. Psychotherapy services are offered both in person and virtually. The two treatment modalities I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). CBT focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. It is commonly used for anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and stress management. DBT is particularly helpful for individuals who experience intense emotions or difficulty with emotional regulation. It focuses on four core skill areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.

Psychotherapy is helpful for improving emotional well-being, understanding thoughts and behaviors, and developing healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. It can support individuals who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions. Psychotherapy can also help with building self-awareness, improving communication skills, managing symptoms, and promoting long-term personal growth and resilience.

A psychological evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of an individual’s cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. It is used to clarify diagnostic concerns and identify possible mental health or developmental conditions.
A psychological evaluation is a comprehensive assessment process used to better understand an individual’s emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and personality functioning. Using clinical interviews, standardized assessments, behavioral observations, and background information, the evaluation helps identify mental health concerns, diagnostic considerations, and factors that may be impacting daily functioning, relationships, academic performance, or work productivity. Psychological evaluations can provide clarity regarding conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, personality patterns, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. The findings are used to guide treatment planning, support recommendations, and individualized interventions that promote overall well-being and functioning.

A psychoeducational evaluation is a comprehensive assessment designed to understand how an individual learns, processes information, and functions academically, socially, and emotionally. Through a combination of standardized testing, observations, interviews, and review of developmental and educational history, the evaluation identifies strengths, challenges, learning differences, and possible diagnoses that may be affecting performance at school, work, or daily life. Psychoeducational evaluations are commonly used to clarify concerns related to attention, executive functioning, giftedness, learning disabilities, anxiety, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional or behavioral functioning. The results provide practical recommendations and individualized strategies to support success across educational, professional, and personal settings.
