About Dr. Lizandra Muñiz

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with advanced training in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, and mental health counseling. My work is grounded in empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families as they navigate emotional, relational, and life-stage challenges.

My graduate training includes a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology, as well as a master’s-level degree in mental health counseling. Throughout my clinical training and professional experience, I have worked in different settings such as hospitals, intensive outpatient program (IOP), outpatient, and community mental health centers, providing therapy, psychological assessment, and family-centered care with a strong emphasis on multicultural sensitivity and trauma-informed practice.

As a bilingual and bicultural clinician, I value the role that culture, identity, and life experience play in mental health and healing. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative — a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.

In our work together, my goal is to help you gain insight, strengthen emotional resilience, and reconnect with your sense of hope and possibility. Healing is not linear and it is not about perfection — it is about growth, compassion, and learning to care for yourself in new and meaningful ways.
